Sara Delano Roosevelt lives in Hobe Sound, Florida with her husband Pierre A. Stroh, and three sons P. Alexander Stroh (7), Clark Delano Stroh (2), and Haven Roosevelt Stroh (2).
Sara is the great-granddaughter of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt, and is named after FDR’s mother. Sara has chosen the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to be her designated charity in conjunction with the Legacy Group. For more than 100 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (www.bgca.org) has helped kids "Be Great," providing hope and opportunity for those who need it most. Today, more than 4,300 Clubs serve some 4.8 million young people through Club membership and community outreach.
Sara has extensive knowledge and experience in the retail, marketing and licensing industries. From 1993 to 1996, she was a regional marketing merchandising coordinator at Calvin Klein, which encompasses Calvin Klein Collection, Women’s CK, Women’s CK Jeans and all Calvin Klein license products in the Northeast. From 1997 to 2004, Sara worked for MaxMara holding various merchandising positions ranging from consultant to US merchandiser.
